Introducing the Newly Improved Holter Monitoring System by ReactDx

The American Heart Association observes that heart-health screenings are extremely important in lowering the risk of cardiovascular disease. This involves checking blood pressure, blood glucose levels, physical activity, diet, and weight. Depending on what these screenings reveal, it may also be helpful to have a patient wear a heart monitor. ReactDx, the makers of a first-rate Holter monitoring system, report on their latest monitor – the TelePatch™ 4-in-1.

TelePatch™ was originally designed as a 3-in-1 device. It is considered one of the most advanced and convenient ambulatory cardiac monitoring systems on the market. Not only is the system water resistant for daily showering, but it also has zero wires and three different wearing options. Doctors can prescribe it in either single- or dual-channel ECG recording configurations. Perhaps the best feature is the Diogenes algorithm, which allows doctors to receive faster and more accurate results.

The newly improved TelePatch™ 4-in-1 is just as impressive as its predecessor, but is now combined the three other service types: Holter, Event, and MCT. It also comes with 1 to 30-day procedure options. This long-term Holter service only requires patients to change the battery every seven days, or replace the patch itself every seven days, which is excellent news if your test is required to last a few weeks.

Once the TelePatch™ captures the data, it is wirelessly transmitted to the TelePatch™ handset. The handset then sends the data to ReactDx’s Cardiac Monitoring Centers. The center quickly provides the doctor with a customized patient report for his or her interpretation. Finally, the new TelePatch™ 4-in-1 does not have any special billing codes for the Holter, Event, and Mobile Cardiac Telemetry tests, so you can use traditional billing codes like you normally would.

Patients who have more risk factors for heart disease than others, or patients who have already experienced heart-related issues will benefit from the new TelePatch™ 4-in-1. Holter Monitoring systems are excellent tools for determining how well your heart is functioning.
